The SenGenuity ViSmart® 2500 series viscosity sensors have the capability of tracking fluid viscosity and temperature in a wide range of fluids including inks, paints, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and fuels. The sensors have dynamic viscosity and temperature measurement capabilities, a standard ½ inch NPT process thread interface and have quick connect features that allow for easy installation and removal. When used in conjunction with the VisConnect® converter modules, the sensors can provide viscosity and temperature measurements in a variety of output interfaces including CANopen, RS–232, 4–20mA, and 0–4V. Further, when used in conjunction with an Intrinsically Safe Barrier, VB–2510, the VS–2500 series viscosity sensors can also be used to provide an Intrinsically Safe, viscosity measurement system.
